WELCOME TO ASHRA FARMS

Nature is not a place to visit. It is your home...

In the busy city life, cramped for space, there are many of us who long to run away to the hills for some fresh breath OR wish to own a patch of land away from the city amidst nature where one can unwind after a busy work week and grow flowers, fruits, vegetables for a healthy living.

Located on the outskirts of Gurgaon within a driving time of 35 minutes is ASHRA - a 4 Acre Farmland which is right now flourishing with vegetables like Cherry Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Capsicum, Broccoli to name a few - both in open as well as inside a Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse. All cultivation is being done using organic techniques with no use of any pesticides. The result - Healthy, Pure, Organic greens.

All cultivation is done using organic techniques which relies on fertilizers of organic origin such as compost manure, green manure and places emphasis on techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting with no use of any pesticides. The result - Healthy, Pure, Organic greens.

ASHRA PROGRAMS

At ASHRA Farms - we run multiple programs with each program carefully designed to address the needs of a particular section of the society. These programs address school children, urban families, corporate workforce, and health conscious individuals and families.

YOUR GREEN PATCH

Your Green Patch provides an easy, affordable, accessible way for you to escape from the concrete jungle and stressful lifestyle, re-connect with nature, re-discover farming without having to give up much of your time.

Besides, instead of paying premium prices for high quality vegetables, if you are able to meet even a portion of your kitchen requirements via food grown at a safe, chemical free farm of your own and in front of your eyes (which you can pluck yourself too), would it not double your joy?

SCHOOL TO FARM PROJECT

We want our children to understand where their food comes from, the importance of healthy food and what is needed to maintain growth.

The School to Farm initiative has been started with an objective of making every school visit to the farm a fun and fruitful learning experience. Through school visits, we help children to better understand where their food comes from, to discover how it is grown, and to appreciate the importance of healthy eating. We welcome primary, and secondary school groups

OFFBEAT OFFSITES

Offsite meetings are one part of an extended conversation - about strategy, goals, and/or tactics. They're a time to bring people together to make decisions so you can go back to the office the next day and start taking action.

But if people don't understand what outcomes they're driving toward, or don't feel their voice is being heard, your offsite will derail before the first coffee break.

Offbeat Offsites helps you create space for divergence of thought, then guide the group back toward convergence and consensus.

INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT

AGRICULTURE - POLYHOUSE - SOLAR ENERGY
RURAL HOUSING - SKILL DEVELOPMENT - RURAL TOURISM

The IRD Project is being setup as a Model where various programs are actually deployed on ground that would serve as references for future adoption and rollouts by the State Organisations.

Rural development aims at improving rural livelihoods in an equitable and sustainable manner, both socially and environmentally, through better access to assets (natural, physical, human, technological and social capital), and services, and control over productive capital that enable them to improve their livelihoods on a sustainable and equitable basis.
